Step into Reading和牛津树有什么区别呢？
1. Step into Reading由美国兰登出版社出版，在美国已经畅销了25年，深受家长和孩子们欢迎。兰登是美国兰登书屋的简称，它是世界上最大的童书出版商，在欧美，它是妈妈们心目中童书品质的保证。
2. 牛津树Read At Home系列是英国牛津出版社的知名分级读物，同样非常畅销。内容故事围绕kipper一家展开，以生活故事为主进行的延伸。
而兰登是分开的一本本经典绘本，每本之间故事内容没有联系，故事主角不同，内容涉及故事、数学、科普、人文、历史等。
Step into Reading全系列主要共分为1-5个级别（另增加了导读与独立阅读两个系列），每页包含2-60个单词，适合学龄前儿童至小学生阅读。
这5个级别，循序渐进，由浅入深，原汁原味的英语原版图书，用词地道，词汇丰富，插画漂亮，内容包罗万象，有图画书、数学、经典童话故事、励志故事和科普类等。此外，每一个级别都为不同阅读能力的孩子设置了适合的小挑战，让阅读变得更快乐更有趣。
整套系列都是原汁原味的英语原版图书，书中用词地道，词汇丰富，插画漂亮，有助于改善孩子的英语阅读能力。本系列书籍的内容包罗万象，有图画书、数学、经典童话故事、励志故事和科普类等。
·严谨分级难度，由易到难
Step into Reading的难度分级相当细致严谨
兰登出版社借鉴了F&P的分级体系，F&P是一套使用非常广泛的图书分级系统，由两位阅读专家Fountas和Pinnell(F&P)开发，取其首字母俗称F&P分级体系，整套体系细分为A – Z+等级，从A到Z+难度递增的顺序，多达27个难度级别，因此也被称为A-Z分级法。
兰登分级读物前三阶含C、D、E、F、G、H至N等12个级别，孩子可以从C级别开始阅读，逐渐培养阅读能力。参考F&P的分级标准，N级别对应英语国家三年级标准。
Step into Reading系列每一阶级的语言难度都是层层递进，拾级而上的。最显而易见的就是随着阶段的进展，书中文字不断增加。从第一阶一页只有两三个单词，到二阶出现较长的句子，然后再慢慢过渡到三阶段落、章节的阅读。

Step into Reading全系列阅读建议
Step 1: Ready to Read
适合刚接触英文的孩子，字体较大，页数约为32页，内容以简单的高频字汇为主，句型简单、押韵。
Step 2: Reading with Help
适合Preschool至Grade1左右，页数约为32页~48页，包含基本字汇和短句，由师长陪读为主。
Step 3: Reading on your Own
适合Grade1~3左右，页数约为48页，内文开始运用过去式的时态及增加时下热门的主题、主角等，这个阶段孩子可以尝试自己阅读整本的故事内容。
Step 4: Reading Paragraphs
适合英文程度较好的小学高年级生阅读，页数约为48页，内文与字句都较长且分段落。
Step 5: Ready for Chapters
适合小学高年级生至初中阅读，单字较难句型也更多元，主题领域也更广泛，例如时事、太空探险等。
